Ok, it is NOW starting to feel like summer!! We are feeling the heat here and trying to manage it! What do you do to keep cool?
During this kind of weather, it is important to stay hydrated. Water is key. Your body needs it and it helps to regulate our own body temperature. Don’t forget: you can get your hydration through a number of things, not just plain water! Here are some ways to get your water in:
- Fresh fruits and vegetables. Watermelon, celery, cucumber, lettuce, and strawberries are all produce that are high in water!
- Smoothies
- Sports drinks
- Iced coffee
- Coconut water
- Popsicles
