Money, space, and time are all things that we fight to have more of. Lately, my biggest battle has been that of space. So I ran to Pinterest (you know, the hub of all random opinions and advice in non-video form) and found an article that challenged me on making sure everything has a space. Of course, this was pertaining to the idea of purchasing things for your home, but it got me thinking about my mental home. What have I been trying to carry with me that really doesn’t have a space?
I’ve noticed lately that I’ve been trying to fill my mental house with worry, stress, doubt, and well, all the things I shouldn’t be keeping in my house. So my new question to myself has been, “do I have space for this?” And if my answer is “yes” the following question has to be, “what am I giving up to make space for this?” It’s been so helpful when I start going down mental spirals. And it’s been even better when I choose something positive to put into my house. The relief of letting go of the negative to make that space is so freeing.
So my question for you my friend is this, “What are you making space for?”
