Your next 24 hours are fairly unknown.
Sure, you might have a schedule full of meetings, agendas mapped out, and blocks of time set aside for various things. You might have a checklist a mile long. You might have a backup wish list twice as long as that.
But try as you may, life is going to happen, and the entire day will probably not go as you’re planning.
Something will spill. Someone will say or do something unexpected. People will be needy. Surprises will…surprise.
There’s really only one thing you can rely on, and that’s God’s presence through it all. So put Him at the top of your list (“Say hi to God”). Schedule a meeting to connect (“Morning Briefing With God”). You’ll probably need some kind of kick-your-feet-up-and-relax at the end of the day as well (“Evening Debreif With The Big Guy”).
Plan to bring God into your day. It will make everything unplanned that’s coming a bit easier to navigate.
