I have a confession. You know those motivational quotes that you scroll over on social? The ones that often conjure up an eye roll or two from you? I LOVE THOSE QUOTES! Maybe it’s because I love the written word or because I am easily motivated, but those quotes do so much to inspire me.
The screen saver on my phone is not a pretty picture of a sunset or even my family! It’s these words:
TODAY IS YOUR FRESH START, KRISTIN.
MOVE YOUR BODY.
EAT FRESH.
MEDITATE.
AND BE PROUD THAT YOU’RE MAKING DECISIONS THAT SUPPORT A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.
How many times do I pick up my phone? Enough times for me to see that screen saver and be reminded that I need to take care of this body and mind that God has created and given me. It’s never perfect. There are always challenges, but I try each day to honor God and His intention for my life and health.
