I recently had some time to travel home to Hawaii for the weekend. When I go home, my priorities are few: family, food, creation. Hawaii is beautiful, and my absolute favorite parts of the beauty are the sunsets and sunrises. While catching a sunset at a bay near my home, I snapped a photo and sent it to my dear friend who I know also enjoys a good golden hour’.” She replied with this: “God’s greatest gift, no two sunsets are the same. It forces you to be present, and grateful and realize everything is so much bigger than you.”
It is so true! God created no two sunsets the same, and it is truly because He is our amazing creator who loves so deeply. In that moment, I gave thanks for my friend who reminded me about being present and thankful to God for this moment of beauty, the skies in front of me, and the breathtaking sunset I was witnessing.
Sometimes we need scenes like this to be in awe. God is so intentional in this way.
