I would not call myself a foodie if I didn’t share some of my favorite kitchen hacks!
Recently, I got my certification in Nutrition Coaching, and the main reason I pursued this was so that I could learn more about healthy eating in the most creative way possible for my family and friends. So, I am here to share that this one ingredient should be a given staple in your fridge–because it is probably the most diverse food you will use. Here we go….PLAIN GREEK YOGURT.

It is PACKED with protein and one of the best foods to have to improve gut health, boost metabolism, and is filling and delicious in a healthy way!
Plain Greek yogurt (I use the non-fat kind) is the most versatile ingredient:
- It is an easy substitute for sour cream. So, if you make dressing or Ranch dip, this is your healthy swap.
- Add it to your smoothies for an extra boost of protein and creaminess.
- Put in a food processor with some frozen fruit and honey and make your own frozen yogurt in 5 minutes.
Here is one of my absolute favorite recipes using Greek yogurt–YOU CAN MAKE DOUGH!
Add 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt to 1 cup of self rising flour, and mix into an instant health dough. You can then make bagels (I airfry), pizza crust, the possibilities are endless!
