You know how fast food menus in America are pretty much the same no matter where you go?
Well, if you get the chance to travel internationally, you’ll find that the restaurants you’ve grown up with your whole life have crazy new menus.
One time I went into a McDonald’s in Paris, and it was a fancy sit down restaurant! People dressed up to go there, and they had an entire assortment of macarons!
McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Burger King and KFC have made there way into over 150 countries. But, the burgers, tacos, and fries that we eat in the States don’t always match up with local taste buds across the world.
Sometimes companies have to change the menu up to add some local ingredients that are more familiar to people.
Here’s a list of 10 cool international items:
1 In Italy, McDonald’s sells Tomato & Mozzarella Turnovers. (Basically little pizza rolls)
2 McD’s in China has a mashed potato burger. (Not sure I am sold on that one)
3 Mickey D’s in Japan has a banana shake!
4 KFC in Singapore has fish donuts. (No thanks)
5 Korean Taco Bell has Kimchi Quesadillas. (Willing to try that)
6 Taco Bells in Spain sell chocolate and marshmallow Crunchwraps! (Yes, please)
7 Swiss Burger Kings make warm Belgian waffles.
8 Japanese Burger Kings sell pumpkin burgers. (A thick cut of squash meat sounds nice in the fall)
9 Subway in New Zealand has a Habanero Tuna Wrap.
10 Taco Bell India has Tikka Masala burritos. (Sounds amazing)
Just another fun thing to do if you’re ever traveling!
