HOT TRACKS: NF “Let Em Pray”

We just added “Let Em Pray” by NF to Project 88.7!

In “Let Em Pray,” NF talks about the success he’s had, and people who are praying for him not to succeed. Even though some people might not believe in him and what he does as an artist, NF believes he’s just scratching the surface of what God has in store for him and trusts God with His plan for his life.

King David was called by God to lead God’s people. David would often cry out to God in his prayers (which you can find in the Bible in the book of Psalms) about enemies who slandered and ridiculed him, betrayed him, and plotted against him and what God had called him to do. But like NF, David always trusted God to handle every obstacle he faced and every person who opposed him so that God could fulfill His purposes for David’s life. David didn’t try to vindicate himself or prove himself to others. He simply prayed to God, trusted Him, and stayed focused on what God had called him to do.

If you’re facing obstacles as you pursue God’s calling for your life or comments from people that are discouraging you, let this song remind you to trust God.
