I am grateful for the miracles performed at Roaring Springs Waterpark on August 1st, the day that Summer Splash 2024 was scheduled to happen. The event came to a halt, however, when we were told the water park had become a crime scene after an “incident.” It took some time for the details to emerge, but once they did, I was mystified at how God’s hand was clearly the umbrella of protection over every single person in attendance.
No less than 16 bullets ricocheted over six lanes of traffic when cops ran an escaped convict off the road and he exited the car with a weapon.
Shrapnel from multiple bullets was found by the shallow end of the wave pool, where the toddlers and families hang out.
Half of the Project staff was indoors when they were supposed to be at the booth right in front of the wave pool (myself included).
There were far fewer people in that wave pool than there were last year.
Nobody was hit.
NOBODY was hit.
That’s a minimum of 4 miracles, and I am confident there were so many more occurring that we weren’t even aware of.
And just when Satan thought he had the final word on shutting that event down, Joseph O’Brien grabbed his guitar and did two worship sets indoors where people were so overcome by the rich anointing of God in that room that they literally fell to their knees, weeping, surrendering, and so many of them offering their hearts to Jesus for the first time.
Isaiah 54:17 says, “‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord.”
Also, pray for Project artist Joseph O’Brien. He is about to head out on tour with Jeremy Camp. The good news is that the only guns he’ll have to worry about at those stops are the ones contained by Jeremy’s sleeves!
