Took this photo of the beautiful sky one evening. We’ve been having a lot of them lately, huh? When I see these things, I realize that we are emerging into a new season. These moments can be so extravagant, and yet, so intimate.
I know the groundhog predicted more winter, but when I see the sky like this – I can’t help but also anticipate Spring to come soon. We are officially in between seasons. Life is like that too. Sometimes we find ourselves between the good and the bad, the valley and the mountain top, the hurt and the joy. But when I am in ‘the middle’ – that is where I feel God the most.
Being in the middle is scary, it’s daring, it’s unsettling. Yet God makes it so that we are not by ourselves treading in this water.
When I see magnificent skies like this, I thank God for reminding me that being in the middle isn’t lonely…but rather, comforting because He is creator of all seasons of change. –Kristin the Island Girl
