I read a really great devotional entry the other morning and it occupied my mind the entire day!
In essence, the author was talking about how even in the most ordinary days, God shows up in almost every aspect. He is the reason we wake with a wondering about the day. He is in the breakfast rush of the morning. He is the better attitude behind our forced calmness in rush hour traffic.
Even as I write this: I know He is in my coffee.
God is in the very big parts of life and even in the small minute details. It doesn’t have to be a grand moment, in fact, I am more in awe of His presence in the everyday pauses of life. When I stop to breathe or when I prepare a simple meal. I know that God is in these wonderings and passing seconds of the day. He’s got you. He’s got us all and that’s His promise!
Now, back to this coffee…..
